Violin virtuoso, Attilla Sautov, will join with Ukrainian pianist Oleg Poliansky, to present a world-class classical performance in San Marcos.

Attilla Sautov is a phenomenal violinist, who has performed as soloist and concert master in over forty countries. Having just returned from Italy (with a new 1705 Stradivari C model violin from Cremona), Sautov has an enormous impact on his audiences, who are impressed not only with his incredible technical skill, but also his warm human connection and sense of humour. Often, before a performance he welcomes people at the door himself, and his recitals are interspersed with entertaining anecdotes of what happened during his career.

Together with equally acclaimed pianist, Poliansky, Sautov will perform masterful duets, including Massenet’s “Meditation” from the Opera Thais, Paganini’s “Moses in Egypt” Variation on One String G, plus works by Bach, Rachmaninoff, Gluck, Debussy, Mozart, Bazzini, Brahms and Kriesler. Poliansky will also showcase solo piano pieces by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and “La Campanella” by Paganini/Liszt, plus one of Beethoven’s most popular compositions, the Moonlight Sonata.

These musicians are of the highest calibre, and bring unique personalities to the stage to ensure a most entertaining and enjoyable performance.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see a world-class classical concert on your doorstep.

Tickets also available at the door one hour before the concert from 3pm unless sold out, and stay for a meet and greet and refreshments afterwards!
